I had the Reuben basket with a Foggy Geezer IPA as my wife and I sat near the lake. The food has always been pretty good, and the waitstaff and bartenders are always great. The only thing I'd change is to add some sun shades out on the deck near the lake. For me, this is my preferred place to go, beating out every place in Mankato except Pappageorge, but hey don't have outdoor seating near a lake '-)

Chicken Bacon Ranch PIZZA review by Daniellemjunker
With crispy crust and melty cheese, this pizza is delicious! The peppers and tomatoes made this flavor pop! It was a quiet day at the Landing- peaceful, serene. As we sat by the water enjoying our pizza little did we know that day would change us forever. As we looked across the water we began to see a stream of bubbles slowly move across the lake towards the docks at the landing. Suddenly the water erupted a large grotesque creature with the head of a fish and a humanoid body jumped from the water. In a low hiss it said " give me that pizza". Our server, Jena as if knowing the situation, jumped into action. She ran from the building sprinting across the parking lot and grabbing a large pole that was stowed behind the counter, hit the large creature square in the face sending it hurling back into the lake. She looked triumphantly at the water and said " Not on my dock" as she set down the pole and asked if we needed the bill for our meal. She walked back towards the building as we all looked at the water in shock, as the slow stream of bubbles trailed away from the dock knowing it had been thwarted again.

Super good, tender. I'm a salt freak so thought there would've been a saltier flavor with pretzel crust, but otherwise very good.

Naan bread with smoked salmon, or seared tuna, Boursin cheese, cucumber slices & drizzled with hot honey. I can't say enough wonderful things about this fresh, amazing combination of sweet honey, smooth cheese, crisp cucumber and tender smoked salmon! I drive 40 minutes, about 4 times a month, just so I can have this for lunch!!
